The Chelmsley Tale was first commissioned by Solihull MBC as part of Fresh Air Theatre Festival, which toured across Solihull’s parks in the summer of 2024 and was seen by audiences of nearly 300 people.
Summer 2025 sees it returning for a schools tour in collaboration with Solihull Cultural Education Partnership (CEP), which has enabled over 2,500 children and young people to access this live theatre performance. This tour is accompanied by a new workshop, 'Whats My Tale?', which will use drama, creativity and imagination to explore themes of self, home and identity.
